I am fascinated with how plants work, and along with members of my lab, we use genetic approaches to understand plant development, growth, and physiology. Our projects include understanding post-transcriptional regulation (focused onmRNA decay and RNA buffering), signaling pathways that connect shoot growth with root stress perception, and understanding tree development though live-cell imaging using tiny microscope.
